⭐️AMAZING⭐️ Nothing but good thing to say about this thrift store! It has to be the best thrift store left in the city. It is a bit further out from the center. There is a wide variety for men’s clothes, as well as for women’s clothes. Wide variety of household items. Besides the wide variety, nice quality, it is also really clean! The music there is really good, well curated. The decor is also really nice, all this to give a great thrifting experience. The store doesn’t have any cabin but you can try the clothes on near the mirrors. The staff is also really sweet!

As an avid and lifelong thrifter, I can honestly say that this is the best thrift store in Montreal. Great music, easy-to-browse layout, and tons of great clothes and books. It’s also always a nice surprise to find out that some of the clothes I’m buying are discounted by 50% or 75%!!

I've been here a few times and it's a pretty sweet place, I love the way the store is organized BUT... the customer service isn't necessarily down to earth and the atmosphere isn't as welcoming as I expected it to be. Considering it's not a big chain store like Renaissance or Village des Valeurs, you would expect it to feel a bit more warm and welcoming but unfortunately, it is not. Here's my story: I went to donate a bunch of my stuff in their donation bin and I got happy when I noticed a little postcard book that was from the Italian hometown of my family. It was a random vacation souvenir from a pile of postcards in their bin so I thought, hey, instead of a coupon, it wouldn't hurt to ask for that. They said no, which is totally understandable. So, I asked to buy it from them instead. But then they were like 🤓👆 "it hasn't been looked at by us and put through our system yet"..... huh??? you are holding it in your hands??? I can't buy someone's trash off of you because it needs to be systemically recognized as a product labelled as a ~$2 postcard??? This felt robotic and really put me off. Like the reason I shop and donate my stuff here is to buy tacky little knick knacks like that. I was quite disappointed that they decided to prioritize putting something away for their system instead of selling it to a customer.... At the end of the day it is what it is but I am rather disappointed with their rigid approach to customer service. Considering it's a small business in a really cool location, Friperie Notre Dame has the potential to offer a welcoming and unique thrifting experience but, instead it is no different from the strict and conventionalist shopping experiences of big chains like Village des Valeurs and Renaissance.

MOST expensive second hand store ever! the owner smoke weed all day, maybe that is why her imagination goes wild with the pricing.

Clean and organized, but pretty expensive for a secondhand shop. I saw a few Dollarama items for double even triple original price (a cat toy that costs $2 at dollarama being sold used for $7, see photo).

This is a clean and well organized place to buy gently used clothes. The staff are professional and have a warm disposition. I purchased $300 worth of clothes for only $31.00 the clothes looked nearly new.
